We tried lots of different materials: wood, cardboard, plastic—you name it! We even tried making tunnels out of wire mesh (so they could see each other) but this proved to be a little dangerous for our pet rodents because it had sharp edges where pieces were missing or bent outward from wear-and-tear over time due to chewing on them by one’s own self as well as others who live nearby – especially if they weren’t used properly like when only one person held onto their end while another person did something else such as talking about how much better they felt after eating some apples yesterday afternoon while using his fingers instead nevermind just ignore me please continue reading!
