They Call Me Puppy Dog! Click here to check out my story along with pictures.

Introduction

I’ve had a tough life but now I’m in a great home. I get to play with other dogs and go on walks every day. In my previous home, they called me Puppy Dog because I used to bark all the time. They said it was cute at first but after a couple months people don’t want puppies anymore. They just want full grown dogs that are easier to handle. The nice lady at the rescue center gave me this great home!

My old owner used to beat me and yell at me. I was afraid all the time.

I was afraid, but I didn’t know why. My owner would yell at me and hit me with a broomstick or a belt. I didn’t understand why he got so angry with me!

I was scared of my old owner, because he was mean and yelled at me all the time. He would even kick me sometimes, which hurt a lot! But the worst thing about living with him was that he never let me out of our small apartment for exercise or playtime outside…

I used to be on the streets.

I used to be on the streets. I was afraid all of the time, and my old owner used to beat me and yell at me. But then one day this nice lady from the rescue center came by, and she said that if I came with her, she’d give me a great home! And so here I am now—I have a big yard to play in and some buddies.

The problem with puppies is that they are cute, but they grow up. When they get bigger, it can be harder to handle them. They need training and attention. Not everyone wants a puppy when they are ready for a full grown dog that is easier to manage.

The nice lady at the rescue center gave me this great home. I have a big yard to play in and some buddies. The people who live here let me run free in the yard all day long, but they also take me out for walks on a leash.

They say that I am special because my ears are pointed up like a fox’s ears, not flopped down like other dogs. They even have pictures of my doggy DNA—it shows that I have some wolf genes!

I love going for walks with them every day and getting attention from everyone we meet on our walks to the park or vet clinic where they take me for checkups sometimes (I don’t like riding in cars though).

I love my new family!

The family is nice to me and they have a big yard for me to play in. They also have friends for me to play with, so I get lots of exercise.

My new mommy and daddy are taking good care of me, so I feel happy every day! They feed me healthy food, give me lots of toys to play with, and take me on walks around their neighborhood every day. I love my new family!

Puppy dog likes his new home.

I am so happy to be in this new home and I can’t wait to meet my new family.

My yard is so much bigger than the one in my old home, but it’s still not very big. My friends are going to love playing with me in our yard!

Conclusion

And that’s my story! I’m really happy with my new family and I hope this blog post has helped you understand why we rescued dogs are so special.
