25 Dogs Trapped in Human Clothing

Introduction

It’s clear that this dog just wants to be comfortable. This dog is ready for the party. Who needs tails when you have a hood? Not sure how this dog held still for the fitting. This dog needs no introduction. “No, I am not happy about this.” What a stylish puppy! This guy has had enough of your shenanigans. “Wait, do I look good in this?”

It’s clear that this dog just wants to be comfortable.

In this photo, it’s clear that this dog just wants to be comfortable. It’s wearing a hoodie and a hat, with gloves on its front paws. On the left side of its face, you can see some snowflakes in its fur—which means that this dog must have been out walking in the snow!

This is another great example of what happens when you dress your dog like a human being. While many people might find it cute or funny at first glance (and I sure did), something about this photo makes me feel uncomfortable looking at it for more than a few seconds.

Who needs tails when you have a hood?

You might be wondering why we’re talking about dog’s tails. Well, it’s because they don’t have them! It’s true! Dogs are not human and they are not furry monkeys. They can’t wear clothes either, except for maybe a sweater or something.

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t put clothes on them. Because even if your dog doesn’t have a tail, it still has fur and needs clothes to keep warm in the wintertime—and also just because it looks cute when its paws come out the bottom of an article of clothing (which is always).

Not sure how this dog held still for the fitting.

This dog looks like it wants to get out of the outfit, but not because it doesn’t like the outfit. It just looks uncomfortable and like it wants to take a nap. Look at those eyes! They’re saying “I don’t care what’s on, just put me in something that’s comfortable.”

This dog needs no introduction.

This dog needs no introduction. Snoop Dogg, AKA the famous rapper, has been photographed wearing a hat on more than one occasion. His real name is Snoop Lion, which doesn’t quite roll off the tongue like “Snoop Dogg,” but it still sounds pretty cool.

“No, I am not happy about this.”

You may have seen dogs wearing clothing and thought, “But why?”. Well, it’s because they can! But just because they can doesn’t mean they want to. Take this dog for example:

This is probably one of the most common reactions you’ll get from a dog wearing human clothes. They can be uncomfortable in their outfit, or scared of it altogether (like this guy). It’s also possible that the clothing doesn’t fit properly or is too small.

Some dogs have been known to enjoy wearing clothes though! And if you have a pup who seems like he might enjoy being dressed up, here are some tips for making it work:

What a stylish puppy!

These dogs are clearly ready for a night on the town. They’re dressed to impress and ready to strut their stuff.

But, sadly, there’s no way that these outfits can be used for what they were intended for—to make dogs look like humans. Well, maybe if you have a very small dog or are really good at folding things inside out, then you can wear your dog as an over-sized sweater. If not… well it just won’t work out the way you want it to!

This guy has had enough of your shenanigans.

You’ve just about had enough of this nonsense. You’re not happy about it, and neither is your dog.

How many times have you seen a dog wearing human clothing? How many times have you laughed at the photos? Sure, it’s cute and funny, but look closely. The dogs don’t look happy at all! They’re clearly miserable in their silly outfits—and they shouldn’t be made to feel that way!

“Wait, do I look good in this?”

How many times has your pet run up to you and asked to be dressed in a stylish outfit? Probably never. And for good reason: Dogs are not always fans of human clothing. Different dogs have different personalities, but they all seem to share one thing in common: an inherent distrust of items that smell like humans, or anything else that doesn’t smell like them.

The best dog-clothing models are the ones who don’t make a huge fuss about having their picture taken—they could be the most photogenic dogs on earth, but if they try to bite the photographer or wiggle out from under his lens cap, then he won’t get any great shots. Some dogs will even hide under tables until it’s time for their photo shoot to end! Luckily there are also some really good dogs who enjoy posing for pictures and waiting patiently while we take dozens of photos with them (because they know they look so cute).

When it comes down to it though…I think we can agree: All these dogs are just adorable no matter what they’re wearing!

Dogs don’t always like wearing clothing but they always look funny in it.

These dogs are a good reminder that dogs are not always happy to wear clothing. They might pull. They might try to bite. They might run away and hide under the couch or in the basement or under your bed or somewhere else where it’s impossible for you to reach them without trying to get on all fours and crawl across the floor like an animal yourself (or at least me).

But even though these dog owners had quite a bit of trouble getting their pets into human clothes, they were rewarded with some funny pictures that prove just how adorable our furry friends can be when they’re comfortable enough to do whatever we want them to do—even if it means putting on silly outfits!

Conclusion

Dogs are great and they make us laugh. I hope these pictures made your day just a little bit brighter.
