Introduction
It’s happened to all of us: You’re walking along, minding your own business, when you look down and see a little white dot on the bottom of your shoe. Then another one appears. And then another! Before you know it, you’re surrounded by tiny paw prints that seem to be leading somewhere. Where are they leading? Well…
They’re called paw prints
- Paw prints are the sweetest little kittens you’ll find on the bottom of your shoes, socks and slippers.
- They’re called paw prints because they’re little kitties’ paws.
- They come in all sizes, shapes and colors!
- Sometimes you can see their eyes or ears if you look carefully.
They come from actual kittens, but not the ones that hang out in your shoes.
You probably already know this, but the cute little kitten shoes that you find on the bottom of your shoes are not actually kittens. They’re called paw prints. But where did these weird little pals come from?
As it turns out, they come from actual kittens (not the ones that hang out in your shoes), but not from any kind of fashion show or anything like that. They were originally part of a street art project by artist Patricia Piccinini, who has been making them since 2002! She uses a bunch of different materials to make her kitties: some are made with clay and polymer clay; others are made out of stainless steel and resin; some have glass eyes while others have flat eyes with painted-on pupils or no eyes at all! It’s hard to tell which kind has more personality—but we think we’d rather hang out with one than look at it for too long…
There are a lot of different types of paw prints.
If you’ve ever looked at the bottom of your shoe and seen paw prints, it’s probably not because there are actual cats running around with their toes up in the air. In fact, paw prints can be found on many different items like socks or even curtains. Unlike regular cat footprints, though, most paw prints aren’t necessarily very easy to spot. Some of them are tiny little dots that could easily be mistaken for something else (like an ant). Others look like smudges or scratches in the dirt or dust on your shoes. And still others will form a pattern that looks almost like words—though if you look closely enough, you’ll realize they aren’t actually letters but instead just abstract shapes formed by random lines crossing over each other at different angles.
Paw prints come in all sorts of colors too: white paws resemble clouds while black ones seem like they’re covered in shadows; red paws remind us of blood while green ones remind us of grass; purple paws remind us of grapes while blue ones remind us of raindrops falling down from heaven above…
They come in all sizes and colors, too.
Your kitten is the cutest kitten out there, but that doesn’t mean it’s the only one. You’ll find kittens of all shapes and sizes hiding in your shoes. From tiny kittens to large ones (cough, cough), black and white kittens to calico kittens and even orange ones!
The great thing about this is that no matter what kind of size, shape or color you get as a surprise at the bottom of your shoe – they’re always cute!
You can find them on socks, too.
You may have thought that only your shoes had kittens in them, but you would be wrong! You can also find tiny little kitten babies in your socks. This is because socks are a great place for kittens to hide, sleep and play. Kittens love hiding under the bed or behind the couch as well, but if you’re wearing pants with no pockets (like jeans) then it’s much harder for them to get there without being noticed by humans walking around downstairs. So what do they do? They jump into your shoe!
Socks make very good hiding places for kittens because they are small enough for them to crawl inside once the lid slides right off on its own accord due to gravity pulling down on it all day long every day year round 365 days straight every single time someone wears their pair of shoes out into public where anyone could see them walking around town while holding onto one another tightly so no one notices how terrified we all feel inside our hearts at being alive before finally dying alone when nobody cares anymore anyway…
The youngest kitten is actually only two years old.
You probably knew that the oldest kitten was three years old, but did you know that the youngest was only two? This fact makes a lot of sense when you think about it: kittens are born in litters, and each litter usually has between one and six kittens. The youngest kitten is typically the smallest, while growing up to be quite large by comparison. However, this pattern doesn’t always hold true—as one reader noted in their comment on our Facebook post:
“I’m pretty sure my first cat had two older siblings but she still turned out to be huge! She was so big for her age that she didn’t fit through most doors!”
Once a kitten gets onto a shoe’s sole, it’s nearly impossible to remove.
Once a kitten gets onto a shoe’s sole, it’s nearly impossible to remove. They’re very sticky, so even if you try to pick them up with your fingers, they’ll stick right back on again. You can try using a shoe brush or soft cloth to remove them, but that might not work either. If you really want to get rid of those kitties in your shoes (and who wouldn’t?) here are some suggestions:
Try using water and soap—but don’t use too much soap! Too much will cause the kitty’s fur to fall off and leave only his skeleton behind. If this happens and there are still more kitties stuck in the shoe, try again without using any soap at all!
You can also try using nail polish remover; however this may cause discoloration of fabric or other surfaces around where you spray it so be careful when spraying around edges or corners where no one else knows about yet…
Sometimes they’ll try to fool you by making fake paw prints to distract you from their real ones.
Sometimes, you’ll find that a cat has been in your shoes.
Sometimes, when the cat leaves its paw prints on your shoe, it will try to trick you into thinking that it was in another pair of shoes. You might think there’s no way for them to fake the paw prints—but they’re clever little creatures and can find ways around almost anything!
Those cute little kittens hiding in your shoes are on your heels for good!
You might be wondering what those cute little paw prints on the bottom of your shoes are. Well, they’re not just adorable—they’re also a sign of good luck! They’re called paw prints because they look like cat paws, but actually they’re made by a tiny insect called the hobo spider. These spiders are very common in North America and build their webs near homes or buildings where people spend time outdoors. If you see one of these little guys on your shoe, it means that you’ll be having good luck all day long!
You can tell if there’s a hobo spider web by looking for webs spun between two walls or posts and nearby woodpiles or rocks where these spiders like to hide during the day (that’s when they come out to hunt). The web itself looks like an irregularly shaped cotton ball made up of many strands with no particular pattern in mind; as such it makes pretty decent camouflage for its creators who like being hidden from predators while waiting for prey items like flies (we’ll get back to how this works later).
If you don’t see any webs around then check under rocks since these spiders often hide there during daylight hours but remember that if you do find one then congratulations—your lucky streak has begun!
Conclusion
Remember, it’s not just the bottom of your shoes that they’ll try to get into! You’ll find them on socks, too. And while these little critters might seem like an inconvenience at first glance, think again: they’re actually a sign of good luck! So if you ever find yourself in need of some good fortune and want to be reminded of those cute little kittens hiding in your shoes… well now you know what to do.
