The Dubai Police Officers Club will be transformed into a vibrant playground for the four-legged heroes from April 18 to 20, as the force launches the inaugural International K9 Show. This three-day extravaganza promises to showcase the versatility of police dogs, blending high-octane demos with family-friendly activities and competitions.

Global Platform for Police Dogs

Designated as a first-of-its-kind global platform, the International K9 Show aims to highlight the vital role of K9s in modern policing, while providing the public with an immersive and engaging experience. The event will feature over 30 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing their expertise in dog training, nutrition, and behavior.

• Expertise in dog training, nutrition, and behavior will be showcased through workshops and seminars hosted by renowned experts.
• More than 30 exhibitors will be present at the event, representing dog trainers, breeders, wellness hubs, and government and private sector organisations.
• A veterinary health centre will be set up to provide both physical and psychological check-ups for dogs.

Competitions and Activities

Competitions will be a major highlight of the event, featuring an FCI dog show for licensed participants, agility training demos, and K9 demonstrations by Dubai Police. Trained dogs will showcase their skills in detecting contraband, tracking suspects, and executing rescues. The event will also feature a dog fashion walk, face painting, and a “Doggy Doodles” art zone.

A Home for Rescue Dogs

In addition to the thrilling events, the International K9 Show will also provide a platform for pet adoption. A “dog adoption alley” will be set up at the venue, encouraging pet lovers to give rescue dogs a forever home.

The International K9 Show is being held in partnership with Nestlé’s pet nutrition brand, Purina Pro Plan. The event promises to be an engaging experience that combines education, entertainment, and a shared love for animals.
